There is now a well surfaced road to the site of Arycanda. The site lies an easy walk from Aykurea on the main road from Elmah to Finike. The site overlooks the valley below from which the city must have received tribute to contribute to the large number of public buildings including a theatre, stadium and baths.

The Ministry of Tourism and Culture have helpfully installed detailed maps at the most important sites which greatly helps the visitor to navigate their way and be informed as to what the relevant jumble of stones could have been. Without this help it would, in some cases nigh on impossible to sort out one heap with another!

The theatre, like many in this part of the world is built into the hillside.

The stadium with seats for the spectators, and to the left niches where statuettes were placed, possibly of past winners at the games.

This has been identified as the site for the gymnasium.

The imposing remains of the bath complex.

Evidence that Christianity came to the city with the Chi-Ro sign on the side of this sarcophagus.

A section of paved roadway.

A geometric mosaic floor in one of the buildings.
