Corydalla is a Rhodian town and so was called by Hecataeus about 500 B.C. as many of it’s inhabitants were Rhodians. It is easy to reach the site as it is near to Kumluca.

In the northeast of Finike township within the boundaries of Kumluca Hacıveliler is the village. Roman coins found in excavations of the period belong to the Lycian Union. The City's theatre was demolished and the rest of the city's other buildings belonging to the city moved to neighbouring towns and villages and used in the construction of buildings. The city largely has been destroyed. City Byzantine and late Byzantine era have shown the development of the ancient settlement. As mentioned above, the city does not have any features of an ancient city.
