This site is some three miles from Hacimusalar which itself could be the ancient city of Choma. There are only these two Lycian rock tombs, one of which has a Lycian inscription which indicates that this is the most northern example of Lycian in the country. It is suggested that this city predates that of Choma. But there is nothing of any consequence to be seen in the area.
