The site is well sign posted from the Fethiye- Xanthus road. There is a good road leading to the site where a guard is ready to accept your entrance fee.. The site is very large with three various features that distinguish it from other Lycian sites. The most striking is on the face of a cliff overlooking the site are numerous pigeon hole tombs. One wonders how these were made and the deceased deposited in them. I do wonder if there has been any evidence found at the foot of the cliff of any bones or other body parts!

The lower Acropolis appears to have most of the public buildings associated with the city.

There are numerous buildings visible in the site, theatres, tombs, buildings and of special interest high status tombs such as the “Royal Tomb”

The following images appear to represent walls and towers of a city however the images have suffered the effects of time and are not readily readable.

The Theatre had some 27 rows of seats and ten stairways.

A featured tomb is that known at the Ox Tomb with splendid carved hoens over the entrance.

The remains of what has been identified as the Odeon.

Overlooking the site on a cliff face are more rock tombs.
